The Iris Pouch is a beginner-friendly zipper pouch pattern with a classic star quilt block and a boxed bottom that helps it stand up on its own. This practical and beautiful pouch is perfect for quilters to store their essential tools like small rulers, thread, rotary cutter, and more—ideal for quilt retreats, sewing clubs, or simply staying organized at home.

Named after my late mom, Iris, this pouch holds a special place in my heart. She was always supportive of my creative journey and loved everything I made for her. The Iris fabric from Liberty that I chose for the cover pouch reminds me of her. She loved travel and I would make her zipper pouches over the years as I learned to sew. This pouch is a beautiful way to carry on her memory and spirit.
